The Harris Building is suited for live music performances, whether solo singers, chamber music, bands or entire orchestras. We have hosted concerts in both our second-floor ballroom and our first-floor gallery. In October of 2015 we kicked off our Local Music Night series with Grand Rapids bluegrass favorite, Fauxgrass. We look forward to developing and growing our music program and are excited to establish ourselves in the Grand Rapids community music scene. Past performers include Fauxgrass, Emily Marvosh (Opera GR), Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra, Olin Clarke Quartet, Desmond Jones, Ari Teitel Organ Trio, Robin Connell, and more.
